My Dinner Plate

I made The Pioneer Woman’s “Ranch Chicken”, fresh corn from the Mennonites, fresh okra from a family at church, and my momma’s cheesy oven potatoes. The kids said, “You’re food is the best.” I should make The Pioneer Woman’s dishes more often.

I also made two of my fudge pies for tomorrow’s Big Day at church. I have to admit, it’s hard having two of those fresh out of the oven on my counter.

  1. We made that ranch chicken too this week. Hope didn’t like it at all but the rest of us thought it was really good. Tonight I made her corn and pepper casserole and those au gratin potatoes and her apple brown bettye. I think I used almost a pound of butter and almost 3 cups of cream. Oh My!
