Although we took down the Christmas tree, we still have the rest of the Christmas decorations to put away.
Abby Kate is just as obsessed over organization as I am.
I really love staying up late and sleeping in. I was spoiled over the Christmas Break.
I’m finishing up Insurgent on my iPad. I’m not one for big change, but after several years, I’m taking a liking to my electronic books.
I can play a mean game of Solitaire.
Over the break, I cooked ALL of our meals (one exception – we ordered pizza one night). We ate all of the leftovers and didn’t waste any food. I love cooking and I hope to not get bogged down in the hectic pace of school that the cooking takes a hit.
The school stage that we are in is SO draining! Where did the baby and toddler years go?
Abby Kate continues to read us out of house and home.
Joshua is loving basketball and is getting ready for baseball. I’ve never seen a more ball obsessed child. He has grown to love collecting baseball and football cards. For Christmas he got complete sets of this year’s football and baseball players. These cards keep him reading and entertained for hours!
I’ve started putting more effort into having the kids help out more around the house. Joshua loves helping out and I can’t give him enough to do. It takes a little bit of time, but I am enjoying teaching them the way I like for things to be done. 😉 We are working on loading and unloading the dishwasher, sorting laundry into warm and cold piles, loading the laundry into the washing machine, measuring the detergent and fabric softener, loading the dryer, bringing in the groceries, and other things around the house. Several of these we’ve been already doing, but I’m putting more of an effort in to these chores. I’m thankful for some helpful hands.
